WH360 Information for Doctors

You may have reached this page because you're curious about who we are and what we 're about. Alternatively, a patient may have visited you with results from the WH360 Symptom Checker, test results or questions after visiting our site.

What We Do

We work on behalf of our members to help them understand their autoimmune condition better enabling the best possible dialogue with their Practitioner. This may take the form of results from our Symptom Checker and/or test results. Beyond this we help sufferers track their symptoms and quality of health over time, and provide advice on diet and lifestyle to help improve their day-to-day quality of life where possible. We understand - as sufferers ourselves - that autoimmune diseases are hard to live with day to day with symptoms that can be hard to articluate and are diffuse in nature.

We provide a well researched, evidence-based resource for those struggling to manage their autoimmune disease day to day.

We always refer back to primary Healthcare Practitioners and provide links to accredited Functional Practitioners.

We cover diseases with known links to thyroid disorders including related autoimmune conditions, liver, digestive and endocrine disorders insofar as they relate to thyroid disease.

What We Don't Do

We DO NOT provide diagnoses, advice on how to treat autoimmune conditions or interpretation of test results.

Symptom Checkers

Our Symptom Checkers collate symptoms for the diseases we cover based on the NHS Choices website, medical resources such as the BTA, Pernicious Anemia Society, U.S National Library of Medicine and current research. Each 'basket' of symptoms represents a specific disease or deficiency. 'Baskets' may contain overlapping symptoms. The checkers identify symptom clusters that may relate to a disease state in an individual. Clearly this is not exhaustive.

The symptoms of autoimmune diseases can be indicative of other diseases. The results DO NOT represent a diagnosis, simply indicate the presence of a symptom cluster. We make this clear to our users.

Diagnostic Tests

We provide access to a range of 3rd party tests without bias. Our members may choose to do a test based on their Symptom Checker results or to visit their Healthcare Practitioner directly to discuss their symptoms, tests and/or test results.

WH360 Statement for Doctors

We know that the Medical Profession are the experts in dealing with autoimmune disease. From our research and personal experience we know that autoimmune diseases are tricky to live with. Symptoms are often diffuse, such as fatigue and non-specific pain and can be hard to articulate. Progression may be slow. Symptoms can worsen over long time periods until a person's quality of life is severely compromised. Even at this point, symptoms may remain hard to articulate, leaving sufferers desperate for help and respite.

Our aim is to help auoimmune disease sufferers track their symptoms and quality of health over time to enable them to approach their Healthcare Professional with a clear, articulate view of progression and symptoms to aid diagnosis and treatment.

Clearly there will be cases where this does not work out. Symptoms may not match what the Practitioner sees in front of them.

Contact and Feedback

We are very open to feedback to help us improve our offering. All our content has been vetted by qualified practitioners. We're only interested in providing the highest quality scientific and evidence-based information.  Many sites fail to do this and do chronic disease sufferers, the Medical Profession and Health Practitioners a great disservice. WH360 is not interested in providing inaccurate or 'sensationalist' information as this serves no-one.

Please feel free to                                with feedback or questions.

WH360 Reputation

Our reputation rests on our ability to provide a valuable service to our members. If they feel more empowered and better educated about their condition and the options open to them and this enables them to work better with their Practitioner we will have succeeded.
